A new approach to urban laundry
Smart lockers for maximum convenience
Founded in 2012 by Bader and Fahed Al Kalooti, Laundrybox was created to solve everyday difficulties in accessing laundry services. The concept is based on smart lockers installed in residential and office buildings. Users place their clothes in a bag, leave it in a locker, select the return time, and make the payment. They later receive an SMS notifying them that their clean laundry is ready for collection from the same locker.
Efficient and controlled operation
Once clothes are deposited, Laundrybox staff collect, process, and return them within the agreed timeframe. This centralized workflow ensures convenience for customers and operational efficiency.

Laundrybox chose Girbau washers and dryers for their quality, efficiency, and profitability, as well as the guarantee of consistent, high-quality technical service.
Each Laundrybox installation includes four Girbau washers and two dryers with technologies such as Aquafall, Aqua Mixer, and Just in Load. ED series dryers feature Transflow dual airflow, Humidity Control, and double-glass panel design, enabling short drying cycles with reduced energy consumption.

Growth and future expansion
More than 70 buildings in Dubai currently feature Laundrybox smart lockers, serving over 1,000 monthly customers. The company plans to expand across the UAE and into other countries using a franchise model.
